Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll joined the show to talk about his new team and some leftover business from USC.
Carroll talked about news USC will make an announcement shortly on penalties. Carroll said the NCAA was always asking him what he knew, but did not get into too much detail. He said the focus was Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo.
But Carroll said he does not expect the hammer to fall. Dan Carroll asked if he expected sanctions. "I would be surprised if there are," said Carroll.
Carroll also weighed on Brian Cushing. Dan asked how he reacted when Cushing was suspended. "As might be disappointed," said Carroll. "He had a great year before. I hate to see anything to tarnish that."
